As noted in the physical description, typically a kasatha's primary arms are one from their lower arms and one from their upper arms, so you'd usually be concealing one primary and one secondary arm. See more levels you can use it with other Kasatha feats. At 1st level, Surprise Arms has to be used with one or both of your primary arms.

Compared to a brooch of shielding, it requires both a reaction and free hands. Given that it can only be used against one spell specifically, I don't think it's all that powerful. Absorb Force is an ability from witchwyrds, who are the ancestors of the kasatha in Starfinder lore. (I play with automatic bonus progression in my games) Looking back at it though, I realize the way I worded it can be easily interpreted as getting runes for free, which was not my intent. Though it's certainly similar to Soulforger and Mind Smith thematically, they both have significant advantages over it. Solar Armory is intended to be closer to 1st level ancestry feats that grant natural weapons and armor. (You're of course free to rebalance or change anything in the book however you like at your table.) Thanks for the feedback! Here's some notes on the feats you mentioned, if you're interested. Unless the intent is that the weapons are meant to be held, but not specifically wielded? Surprise arms? This doesn't work at level 1 as you can't wield weapons or make unarmed strikes with the secondary arms anyways? I'm confused by this feat. See more but there's a magic item that does less than this.

Absorb Force feels a bit weird? I don't know much about Starfinder or Kasatha lore in it. It completely mitigates the gold expenditure for a set of armor or a weapon and does similar things to the Mind Smith and Soulforger dedications. Solar Armory is incredibly powerful for a level 1 ancestry feat or even an ancestry feat to begin with. Not that this is a concern for things like four-armed flurry in the Fourfold Tactician 13th level feat description, but worth mentioning I'd say. Specific actions are always capitalized to show that they are specific actions. I might recommend switching that up and maybe making racial restricted archetypes/dedications instead where you can further expand on these specializations and replace these with other things. I've been waiting for something like this! However, I feel like a lot of the ancestry feats are very specifically geared toward combat and some even seem to be more like class feats rather than just adding to the race.
